France will face Denmark this Saturday at Stadium 974 as they look to get the most points in their 2022 FIFA World Cup match. Les Bleus’ recent 4-1 win over Australia gives them a lot of confidence going into this game.
France boss Didier Deschamps will stick to a 4-2-3-1 formation and could make some changes to his first-team squad this weekend. Both Theo Hernandez and Raphael Varane have had the chance to impress from the start of this World Cup campaign.
4-2-3-1 Predicted lineup for France vs Denmark
Hugo Lloris will start for France after scoring a goal in the previous game. Raphael Varane may have a chance to impress alongside Dayot Upamecano as they look to keep things solid at the back and prevent the Danes from finding the goal in the 90 minutes.
Benjamin Pavard will keep his place at right-back, while Theo Hernandez wants to be left-back on the other side. Both will be given permission to perform in the Danish half.
Ibrahima Konate will have to sit on the bench as he provides cover for the defensive position.
Adrien Rabiot and Aurelien Tchouameni will once again be the main midfielders for Les Bleus as they look to dominate in midfield and create some good chances in the final third.
A technically talented trio of Kylian Mbappe, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele will play ahead of them as part of Deschamps’ attack.
Both Mbappe and Dembele are eager to give full play to their speed on the wing, while Griezmann is the main coordinator in the center.
Matteo Guendouzi, Eduardo Camavinga and Kingsley Coman will have to be content to sit on the bench as they wait for his chance to impress in the second half if need be.
Olivier Giroud will lead Les Bleus’ attacking end of the pitch. After scoring twice against Australia recently, the France striker is looking to repeat the feat at the 2022 FIFA World Cup this weekend.
Randal Kolo Muani will be on the bench but could make an impact later in the game if France need to score by then.
