Fayetteville, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) — Art Ventures will host Daymara Baker’s first Thursday event on October 6th.
Baker will hold cooking demonstrations that “highlight Venezuela’s rich flavors and culture,” according to the press release.She is the founder and CEO rock bakeran artisan bakery that trains and hires neurodiverse young people to help them transition into long-term employment.
She is also currently a senior advocate for Startup Right, a nonpartisan organization that works with policymakers and entrepreneurs to remove red tape and barriers to starting a business. Baker is originally from La Guaira, Venezuela.
The event will be held at the Art Ventures Gallery, 20 S. Hill Avenue, Fayetteville, from 5:00-8:30pm. It will be free to the public, with drinks and refreshments provided by Art Ventures and donated by Core Brewing.
Parking is limited, so during this event attendees are encouraged to use the shuttle from the Church and Centre bus station to the Art Ventures Gallery every 15 minutes.
