Who was Arthur Trott?
A professional engineer by trade, Arthur worked for most of his career at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited. After moving the family to Ottawa from Port Hope in 1954, he was a charter member of Trinity United Church and was active in the church throughout the years.
He had a lifelong passion for music, especially barbershop, and was a longtime member of the Capital City Chorus, serving as chorus director for a time. He was instrumental in forming Aged in Harmony, a barbershop chorus with an average age of 80 who perform regularly in seniors’ residences and community events.
