Cristiano Ronaldo charged with violent conduct by the FA – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged by the English Football Association for his conduct following Manchester United’s game against Everton last season.

The Red Devils lost to Everton in April, and after the game, A damn video emerges showing Ronaldo slapping his phone from a young fan at Goodison Stadium.

Merseyside Police have launched an investigation into the incident and the player has been warned.

Merseyside Police said in a statement issued by the authorities: “This matter has been dealt with with conditional care. The matter is now closed.”

Ronaldo is believed to have agreed to pay compensation to the boy.

However, Ronaldo’s woes appear to be far from over after the FA issued a statement confirming that they would proceed with the case against the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

The FA’s official statement read: “Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with breaching FA Rules E3 in connection with an incident following Manchester United’s Premier League match with Everton on Saturday 9 April 2022. “

“The striker’s alleged conduct after the final whistle was inappropriate and/or violent.”

In response to the FA, United said they were aware of the FA’s position and would support their players through the allegations.

If the FA asks questions and finds Ronaldo guilty, it is unclear what punishment they might choose to take against him.

United fans are hoping this latest setback won’t stop their star man’s efforts to return to the starting XI, or even ruin his season.

Ronaldo is currently on an international assignment in Portugal and wants to be involved in the tight end game against Manchester City when club football returns.
