Don’t Play Me, Miss Nagatoro Season 2 Episode 11 Recap
After learning about Naoto and Hayase’s strange relationship, Hana feels that the two need to follow their hearts. She suggests Naoto take Nagatoro out on a date because she feels love is something one should chase and grab before it’s too late. But despite Hana’s suggestion, Naoto remains unsure and argues that Hayase probably doesn’t want to go out with him. After hearing his argument, Hana also expressed doubts and admitted that she didn’t have the answers to many of his questions because she didn’t know love herself.
As soon as the two of them left the school, they found that it was already evening, and they were surprised that they had stayed in the club room for too long. Sana parks her bicycle on the street when Naoto asks how she plans to get home. Since the eighth prince knew her very well, he felt that it would be better for her not to know about the current situation, as it would only complicate things. Unfortunately for him, Hana told her everything. Sana quickly advised Naoto to follow his heart. After the conversation with Hana, he was already confused, but listening to Shana’s words, things became more complicated.
He just walked to the judo training hall in the school building and decided to wait for Hayase’s arrival. But just a moment later, Nagatoro, who was about to run past him, noticed him. She then teases Naoto and asks if he’s waiting for her there – which Hachioji refuses to accept even though it’s true. As the two walked home together, Naoto asked Nagatoro where she wanted to rest today. Unfortunately for him, she completely misses the point of the question and digresses where she wants to go.

After all of Naoto’s proposals don’t seem to appeal to Nagatoro, everything seems to slip out of his hands. Hayase then took another route to her house, leaving Hachioji with inner turmoil and regret. But he didn’t give up and kept thinking about where he could take Nagatoro on a date. He suddenly sees a picture of a penguin and everything immediately falls into place. He rushed back to catch up to Hayase and called her name. Straight then tells her that he wants to take her on a date at the aquarium.
After an initial miscommunication, the two of them agreed to be there on their next break. However, they don’t realize that Yoshi and Maki have been watching them from a distance and have plans of their own. At school the next day, the two friends noticed that Hayase had been behaving strangely. She would sing and dance for a few moments, then suddenly get lost in her own thoughts. Nagatoro smiled at them when they tried to ask about her plans. Yoshi doesn’t think it’s suspicious, but Maki thinks that Hayase is planning to take Naoto’s virginity.
Meanwhile, Naoto has his doubts and tells Sun Palace. Maki and Yoshi rushed to the art room to warn him, but by then he had left to buy supplies. From their conversation, Hinomiya felt that they might get in the way of Nagatoro and Naoto. So, on the day of the date at the aquarium, Hinomiya, like Maki and Yoshi, followed Naoto and Nagatoro with his younger sister.
