Manchester United will have to battle the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City for Jude Bellingham next summer.
according to AthleticMadrid are huge admirers of the player and have approached his father about a possible transfer.
The 19-year-old is one of their priority targets.
However, reports say the Premier League is his most likely destination.
Liverpool have been closely linked with Bellingham for a long time.
The Merseyside club are currently in disarray and are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League next season.
That could hamper their prospects of signing the 19-year-old midfielder.
Manchester City appear to be a lucrative destination for Bellingham, especially with Guardiola’s impressive record developing youngsters.
United will need to decide whether to join the race for Bellingham.
The Red Devils could target other areas such as the forwards, or opt for other midfield options.
The report goes on to state:
“Real Madrid will continue to pursue Bellingham, although they realistically think that what they can offer – in terms of transfer fees and player wages – will be lower than anything offered by Premier League clubs.”
“Dortmund think the Premier League clubs are ahead, but from their point of view, Real Madrid haven’t made an offer for their player and they want Bellingham to renew his contract when it expires in 2025.”
