He can put himself in the right position, serve as a target in the offense, and convert the opportunities his teammates create for him into the offensive end. Also, at 1.9m tall, he remains an indirect set-piece threat, allowing him to dominate opponents in the air.
The 23-year-old has proven to have huge potential and plenty of room to polish his game. However, if the Serbia international is to become one of the best strikers in Europe, he will have to improve his coordination.
He could certainly bring more competition in the No. 9 position and add more firepower to the Reds’ attacking department. However, with Cody Gapko set to replace Roberto Firmino upon his departure and Luis Diaz still available alongside Diogo Jota, there is no need to bring in another striker. The Anfield club need a direct replacement in midfield, so Jurgen Klopp should prioritize bringing in reinforcements for that area before continuing to bolster their attacking department.
