Man City talent Adam could quit amid Lorient interest

Manchester City starlet Josh Adam is a target for Ligue 1 clubs, with FC Lorient particularly keen to sign him in the summer, Sources told Football Insider
Lorient make final move in January transfer window 19 years old But negotiations started too late for the young man to take any action.
The Scotland midfielder entered the final year of his contract in the summer and it is believed he is keen to move on and play in the first team on a regular basis.
A direct transfer is the most likely scenario as Adam expires in June 2024.
City signed the talented Scot from Celtic Academy in 2020 and he has been a regular in the club’s Under-21 squad.
However, the chances of breaking into Guardiola’s all-conquering first-team squad were few and far between.
Adam was inspired by many young British people who went abroad to study. Jadon Sancho, Jude Bellingham, Aaron Hickey and Falorin Balogun are some prime examples who have continued to thrive by traveling overseas with their teams.
The midfield talent is delighted to have the opportunity to play for the first team in Europe’s top leagues.
City are expected to usher in another busy summer, and Adam could be one of many youngsters looking to resign in search of more opportunities.
The Celtic youth product, who represents Scotland at the Under-21 level, is seen as a future talent and is expected to represent his county at senior level.
In other news, Manchester City are leading the way, re-signing dazzling players who are in fine form.
