4-2-3-1 Predicted line-up for Manchester United vs Fulham

defense

David de Gea will start between the two teams for the Manchester giants after keeping a clean sheet in their previous game. Lisandro Martinez will resume his defensive partnership with Raphael Varane at the back of Manchester United’s defense as they try to hold onto a solid defense for 90 minutes.

Diogo Dalot will play right guard, while Luke Shaw will hope to draw attention on the other side as left guard. They are both eager to impress in the opposition’s half and create some good chances for their team-mates.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire will be options off the bench as they can provide cover for the defensive position.

midfielder

Marcel Sabitzer and Fred will be United’s main midfielders as they try to keep the ball in the middle of the pitch and build up some clear chances in the final third.

The talented trio of Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford will play ahead of them as part of a 10 Hag attack. Fernandes will have to shoulder most of the creative burden, while Rashford will look to threaten Fulham’s goal from the right.

Casemiro is suspended for this match. However, Scott McTominay and Anthony Erlanga will be on the bench as they await their chance to shine in the second 45 minutes if 10 Hag decide to call them on.

attack

Wout Weghorst will lead Manchester on the offensive end of the pitch. He needs a goal to boost his confidence, so this cup game against the Cottagers could be his chance to get back into shape ahead of the international break.
