Manchester United’s competition in race to sign Jude Bellingham – Man United News And Transfer News

Jude Bellingham appears to be one of the most sought-after players at the moment, and this morning Fabrizio Romano analysed the interest and possible competition United could face in signing him.

In his daily column on Caught Off Side, Romano said: “We’re going to have months of crazy rumours involving Jude Bellingham. But it’s still important to stress that as of today, Dortmund are not in talks with any clubs.”

Romano predicts Liverpool will be the front-runners as signing a top midfielder is their priority.

They saved money by signing Arthur Melo on loan this summer, and after failing to sign Aurelien Tchouameni earlier this year, they didn’t want to miss out on Behring Ham.

Romano says both clubs will be in contention for the England international, while former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has previously stated on his YouTube channel how Bellingham will be a regular for United.

Perhaps the biggest threat to United’s chances, as Romano points out, is Real Madrid.

After selling Casemiro to Manchester United earlier this year, they may be looking to strengthen their squad, especially since they have two aging midfielders in Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.

Chelsea could also be in contention as they, like Manchester United, missed out on Frenkie de Jong this summer.

However, Romano made it clear that Bellingham has not yet reached an agreement with any club.

He said: “They [Borussia Dortmund] The final asking price will be determined after the World Cup. “

He went on to add: “Dortmund realise that Bellingham’s performance at the World Cup will definitely affect his market value.”

Bellingham is more likely to wait until the end of the season before making a move.
