Additionally, the 24-year-old singer recently addressed the criticism that prompted her to pursue weight loss after giving birth in February 2021.

Additionally, Trainor revealed that she was judged by nurses after she welcomed her son Riley.

Trainor said Riley slept a lot after she was born. So the nurses seemed to blame it on the antidepressants she was taking while she was pregnant.

However, the No singer pointed out that she was taking the lowest and safest dose of the drug prescribed by her doctor. So, that’s not the reason for her baby’s lethargy.

Additionally, Trainor addressed the challenges new mothers face, especially when their decisions are judged.

She mentioned, ‘I made sure it was safe and talked to my doctor. They told me, “If you are happy, then your body will be happy, and then your baby will be happy.”

Plus, she continued, “I don’t have any postpartum depression or anything. I think the medication definitely helps.

Meghan Trainor Gets Candid About Her Weight Loss Journey

Meghan Trainor spoke to ET Canada in November 2022 detailing her life after giving birth to her son with husband Daryl Sabara 60 lb weight loss journey.

The pop star claims she gained the most weight during her pregnancy, weighing more than 200 pounds.

Trainor went on to explain, ‘I’m just not feeling well. I’ve never had stitches, so to have this c-section scar, I’m in a very dark place and I want to be in a good place for my son.

The No Excuses singer then decided to work hard and challenge herself to find her happiness back.

“I was like, ‘If I survive the C-section, I can do anything!'” she said.

Trainor then revealed that she is now “committed” to her new healthy lifestyle.

She shared, “I learned that I do like healthy food, and I learned what portion size means. I learned that my brain is very happy when I exercise, so I just [feeling] better than ever.
