Actress and producer Mindy Kaling will list her two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in New York City on Friday, The Washington Post has learned.
The 43-year-old “The Office” star, writer and executive producer is asking $2.75 million for the 1,166-square-foot loft.
“This is the perfect two-bedroom home or pied-à-terre at the intersection of Soho and Nolita,” Compass’ Carl Gambino told The Post. Gambino added that in the current market, he does not expect the unit to be difficult to sell. “We’re seeing a very active market and properties like this are expected to be popular.”
The Lafayette Street apartment is the epitome of elevated “loft living,” the agent added. It features an open-plan living space, 10-foot ceilings and a “silent” bedroom. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer sweeping views of the Williamsburg Bridge, a small local park and the surrounding area.
Both bathrooms have Blue de Savoie tiles, and the bathroom connected to the master bedroom also has a bathtub.
The 11-story building, designed by architect Richard Gluckman, is known for its corrugated glass façade. Completed in 2005, the 53-unit blue-gray building is also known as One Kenmare Square. In terms of building-wide amenities, there is a fitness center and a doorman.
In addition to selling condos, Kaling has recently been busy presenting at the Emmys and reflecting on her “intricate relationship‘ with former ‘The Office’ co-star and boyfriend BJ Novak — even deal with rumours He is the father of her two children.
“It doesn’t bother me,” Kaling said in an interview with Marie Claire last month. “He’s the godparent to my two children – they have a very good relationship – so far [the speculation hasn’t] Totally affected my happiness, it didn’t affect my kids or BJ. “
