Shawnigan Lake RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating Janet Klassen, who was reported missing on Jan. 24.
Klaassen was last seen around 3 p.m. Tuesday when she was walking near White Eagle Avenue in Shawnigan Lake, but did not return home.
She is described as an 81-year-old white female with gray hair and brown eyes.
Klaassen is 160 cm (5 ft 3 in) tall and weighs 57 kg (126 lb).
Police have serious concerns for Klaassen’s health and wellbeing.
Anyone with knowledge of Klaassen’s whereabouts should contact local police.
