Paul Scholes urges Manchester United to sign a new right-back in order to unlock Jadon Sancho – Man United News And Transfer News

Manchester United legend Paul Scholes says the club need to sign a new right-back in order to realize Sancho’s full potential.

Sancho has missed much of the season as he has left football and Manchester United to focus on getting back to his best, both physically and mentally.

The Brit has looked to be in fine form since his return from exile.

He was placed in the position of attacking and organizing attacks on the left. Sancho has scored twice in his last five Premier League appearances.

He came on as a substitute for Marcus Rashford in United’s 1-0 win over Real Betis on Thursday.

Scholes spoke via BT Sports daily mail And trust Sancho to bring more.

“Not yet, I don’t think so, I still think he has a lot more to do. He obviously has issues and issues with the manager to deal with, he’s come back and scored a few goals.

“I still think there’s a player there, he just needs the right players around him. Remember before at Dortmund, he always had a flying right-back, which helped him because he wasn’t a very quick player, He’s more of a technical player, he wants to play, he wants to play with his centre-forward and right-back.”

“If United could find a better right-back, that might make him a different proposition.”

Currently, Manchester United’s right-back options are Dalot and Wan-Bissaka.

Early in the campaign, Dalot appeared to have secured his starting spot, while Wan-Bissaka appeared to be on his way out.

However, Wan-Bissaka has returned and is now a regular starter under Ten Hag. The two defenders have been in the same position since the World Cup.
