According to Illinois State Police District 11, 65-year-old Clayton Ferguson from Freeburg, IL was traveling east in a 2020 White Hino Box Truck on Illinois 158 near Besse Lane in St. Clair County when Steven Vaughn was traveling west in a 2011 Red Dodge Truck at the same location. Ferguson attempted to turn left into a business and struck Vaughn head-on.
