Equalizer Season 3 Episode 1 Recap
“Equalizer” season 3 episode 1, titled “Boom,” opens with Delilah and Aunt Vie recovering from the shock of Robin’s kidnapping. Detective Dante arrives at the scene and investigates the case. He asks Delilah and Aunt Six about their missing family members. After realizing they could trust Dante, Delilah shared a photo of Robin. Dante is shocked to learn that Robin has been kidnapped and brings the search to a climax. With the help of Aunt Wee, Dante gets a sketch of the man who kidnapped Robin. Meanwhile, Harry and Mel learn about the situation and suspect that Mason Quinn must be behind Robin’s kidnapping.
Harry, Mel and Dante all assure Delilah that they will find her mother. However, Delilah started freaking out and had a panic attack. She didn’t calm down until her father came. Meanwhile, Robin is captured by Quinn, who plans to terrorize it with a dirty bomb in New York City. The radioactive material released by the explosion would kill several innocent lives. Therefore, Robin must find a way to open up the space and stop Quinn. However, Quinn made a fake video of Robin, blaming her for the bomb explosion.
Elsewhere, Dante finds the man who kidnapped Robin and obtains information on Quinn’s hideout. He joins Harry and Mel to find the location and save Robin. Eventually, Dante and Mel arrive at the hideout and save Robin. Quinn, however, distanced himself from his men and planned to detonate the bomb over the next few hours. After a brief reunion with Delilah, Robin must reunite with her team and develop a plan to stop Quinn and his plans to detonate a deadly bomb. With time running out, Robin searches for Quinn with the help of CIA agent Carter Griffin.
Equalizer Season 3 Episode 1 Finale: Has Robin Found Quinn?
Robin is reunited with Dante, Mel, and Harry in the episode’s final scene, but the team is soon forced to focus on catching and stopping Quinn. The notorious terrorist planned to detonate a bomb that would kill not only those within the sphere of influence, but also those outside the sphere of influence. Quinn’s plan will shake New York City, and no one knows where he will plant the bomb. However, based on her interactions with Quinn, Robin deduces that he will make a statement through a bomb explosion. So Robin realizes that Quinn has planted a bomb near the Statue of Liberty.
With the help of Harry and Mel, Robin discovers that there are only three helipads near the statue. Since Quinn escaped in a helicopter, he likely landed on one of the three helipads. Soon Harry deciphered the exact location of Quinn’s landing, and Robin evacuated the area with the help of Griffin. The team arrives at the site where Quinn placed the bomb and, with the help of experts, responds to the bomb before it explodes. However, the bomb’s trick mechanics make it nearly impossible for them to deactivate it. Harry and Mel stayed with the bomb expert while Robin went to the rooftop to confront Quinn.
what happened to the bomb?
Robin fights Quinn and his minions. She quickly took out his followers, but Quinn managed to detonate the bomb. After the explosion, Robin was very upset because she feared that Harry, Mel and Dante might be dead. However, Harry told Robin that they were both still alive. Harry couldn’t deactivate the bomb, but he removed the radioactive component. The group hid in a dumpster to protect themselves from the explosion. No one was killed in the explosion as the radioactive parts were removed and the area evacuated. So Quinn’s plan failed and he was arrested.
Finally, Griffin arrives to arrest Quinn, and Robin finally defeats her nemesis. Before Robin leaves, Quinn laughs at her Bishop’s death and warns her that he will hurt more CIA agents. Quinn tried to run for his life, but Robin shot him before he could escape. Quinn fell from the roof and suffered multiple gunshot wounds. As a result, Quinn dies and Robin is finally free from the notorious terrorist who threatened her life. Additionally, she killed the man who killed her mentor to avenge Bishop’s death, ending the episode on a satisfying note.
