The Mole Trailer: Netflix Reboots Reality Series – Stars Info City

Welcome to a whole new era of deception.

More than 20 years since Anderson Cooper first hosted the ABC reality contender series The Mole, Netflix is here again Now, with 12 new entrants vying for the big prize. However, one of them is not the one it appears…

Each week, 12 players pull together to challenge to add cash to pots where only one of them wins. But there is a problem – one player can destroy the rest. Who is the mole? The series begins October 7 with new episodes every week.

In response to the official synopsis, The Mole is a high-stakes aggressive series on this revamped model where 12 players challenge together to add cash to a pot where only one of them will find himself profitable. Among the many gamers is a man secretly known as “The Mole” who is tasked with disrupting the group’s money-making business. Ultimately, one participant survives their competitor and uncovers the mole to win the prize.

The series is based on the Belgian format “The Mole” (authentic name “De Mol”) created by Bart De Pauw, Michel Vanhove, Michiel Devlieger and Tom Lenaerts and published by Primitives. Alex Wagner is the web host for the Netflix model, which also features former beauty queen Avori Henderson and producer Greg Shapiro .

Casey Lary, Dom Gabriel, Jacob Hacker, Joi Schweitzer, Kesi Neblett, Osei White, Pranav Patel, Samara Pleasure, Sandy Ronquillo and Will Richardson also participated.

The Mole ran five seasons on ABC from 2001 to 2008. Government producers for the new series include Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Wes Dening, Rikkie Proost, David Tibballs and David Burris. Holey Moley producer Eureka Productions is behind the Netflix series.

Netflix also recently gave the green light to Squid Sport-inspired contestants, Squid Sport: The Problem, where one of 456 contestants took home a historic $4.56 million. Squid Sport host Hwang Dong-hyuk defended the Green Light Reality spinoff, saying it “did not set a huge precedent” because it “took the issue too seriously”.

“I feel like even though our gift sent a pretty heavy message — and I do know there was some concern about taking that message and turning it into a real-life gift with a bonus,” said Emmy winner Huang. “But I really feel that taking things too seriously is definitely not the perfect path to a casual business. It’s probably not a huge precedent.”

The Mole will premiere on Netflix on October 7.
