Tottenham expert tells club to sell Sessegnon and five other stars

Tottenham should sell Ryan Sessegnon and five of his team-mates in January.

That’s according to Spurs pundit John Wenham, who regularly posts news about the club on his website lily white rose social media channels.

SessegnonThe 22-year-old has started eight Premier League games for Tottenham this season, although Ivan Perisic is first choice for the club’s Champions League campaign.

Wenham claims the defender, along with his two current team-mates and three loan players, are not at the level required to play for Tottenham.

“Any player on loan who has no future at the club needs to leave in January and Lo Celso is one of them,” he said. wenham told football insider Correspondent Ben Wilder.

“Rodon, Ndombele, the three of them have no future. It’s just about finding permanent buyers for them. Then you turn to full-backs who are not capable.

“Emerson Royal and/or Matt Doherty, I would personally sell both of them. I just don’t think they’re up to the level required.

“Man you might think that’s harsh, Ryan Sessegnon. You can talk about potential, but he signed in 2019 and didn’t play in Pocci, Mourinho, Mason, Nuno and Conte. Men have played.

“At what point does it stop having potential? I remember it was reported a while ago that we were going to give him a new contract.

“The funny thing is, all those talks are gone now. He has a deal until 2024, so we’re going to make a decision there and I’ll let him go.

“His level is not suitable to play in a system where the ability of full-backs to provide you with creativity is crucial.”
