Tottenham willing to listen to Ben Davies offers amid £15m reveal – sources

Tottenham will listen to offers for defender Ben Davies this summer regardless of who their next manager is, Sources told Football Insider.

The 30-year-old Wales international has two years remaining on his contract with Lilywhites.

However, Spurs realize they need to overhaul a core that has performed so poorly this season.

The north London side are eighth in the table after a dismal 2022-23 campaign, with the club’s defensive performances in particular being criticized.

A well-informed source told football insider If Tottenham receive a £15m bid for Davies in the summer window, they are likely to cash in.

He has been a key player throughout the 2022-23 campaign, making 39 appearances in all competitions, starting 25 times in the Premier League.

Although Davis is proficient in the left-back role, the vast majority of his appearances have been at centre-back.

He was most recently at full-back under the interim management of Ryan Mason, who set up a four-man defense for Spurs.

Davies joined Tottenham Hotspur from Swansea City in 2014, signing an initial five-year contract.

His most recent lucrative extension was signed last summer (2022), and his current contract earns him Report Wages of £80,000 per week.

The Wales international made 77 appearances for Tottenham, making 310 appearances in total, contributing eight goals and 24 assists.

He can play his final game for the club on Sunday (May 28) on the final day of the season – away at relegation-threatened Leeds United.

Tottenham Hotspur’s managerial choice was revealed this week, with Aneslott publicly pledging his allegiance to Feyenoord after Tottenham made good evidence of an interest in him.

In other news, Tottenham have now turned their attention to the 57-year-old and sacked Premier League manager.
