international football According to the report, “United and Liverpool are now eyeing 20-year-old Welbruggen, who remains under contract with Anderlecht until mid-2025.”
The potential transfer fee is believed to be in excess of €10m.
The young keeper has already attracted interest from England, with Burnley trying to sign him last summer amid links with former Anderlecht boss Vincent Kompany.
However, the Belgian club quickly ended any talk of a transfer and denied the chance of their reunion, but now attracting the heights of Manchester United and Liverpool, a move this summer may be inevitable.

Verbruggen graduated from the NAC Breda Academy before moving to Belgium to join Anderlecht in 2020.

Ten Haag has used his Dutch connections extensively at United so far and it looks like he may not be done yet, and after the success of last summer’s signing, no one will question that.
