Sala’s numbers have been impressive for Norwich City so far this season
Sala has been brilliant in midfield for the Championship team, and has done well. The talented youngster has made 34 appearances for Norwich City this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists in all competitions.
The 23-year-old has proved his worth in midfield with an average of 1.1 tackles, 1.5 shots, 1.7 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per 90 minutes in the English Football League Two.His passing is also neat, with a 79.7% pass success rate in the second division (data from who scored).
Salah only joined Norwich in last summer’s transfer window, having reportedly signed from Sao Paulo for a reported £6m, which runs until the end of the 2025/26 season. West Ham will therefore have to agree terms with the Championship side in order to convince them to sell him at the end of the season.

His arrival at the London Stadium could bring more dynamism and strength to the midfield department. If Sala can adapt to Premier League level and establish himself as a central figure under David Moyes, he could replace Declan Rice in the middle.
